Hot Cocoa Icing

Pair this icing with the Hot Cocoa Cake and you'll have the ultimate hot cocoa lover's experience. I could eat this hot cocoa icing for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is that good.
1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 cups hot cocoa mix
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1. With a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip the butter on high speed for 1 minute. Add the vanilla and whip just to incorporate.
2. With the mixer on low speed (otherwise you'll be covered in confectioners' sugar), gradually add the confectioners' sugar and cocoa mix, 1 cup at a time, until completely incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl between additions.
3. Add the salt and whip on high speed for 3 minutes, until light and fluffy.
